The College of Veterinary Medicine Clinical Research Guidelines

Principal Investigators (PIs) working with privately-owned animals must follow the CVM Clinical Research Guide to ensure both the integrity of clinical research as well as the regulatory requirements. Processes vary depending on funding source; It is recommended that investigators review the funding specific flowcharts provided in the CVM Clinical Research Guide.
