Referring Veterinarians- How to refer a patient

Thank you for being so interested in The Ohio State University Veterinary Medical Center (VMC) clinical trials. The referral community is a large part of the success of our clinical trial program. Feel confident referring your patients to the VMC for clinical trials. We strive to improve patients’ lives and the lives of future patients. 

Here at the VMC, we offer advanced diagnostic procedures, specialized veterinary care, and more. When patients are referred to us for clinical trials, it not only helps the current patients but also future patients and future research.

 

Referring Patients for Clinical Trials 

  • If you believe you have a patient who is eligible for a specific study, please visit this link to fill out a survey. For information regarding veterinary clinical trials taking place within our Veterinary Medical Center please visit our Current Trials page or contact us at CVM-ClinicalTrials@osu.edu. 

  • If you have a patient in immediate medical need please contact the VMC Client Services at 614-292-3551. You will be able to get in touch with our Emergency Service for further assistance. The Clinical Trials Office is not equipped to manage emergency medical cases. 

  • If you/your practice would like to receive updates regarding clinical trials at the VMC, please join our mailing list here.
