Veterinary Pharmacy
Our pharmacy fills prescriptions for clients of the medical center. We fill inpatient and outpatient orders for all companion, farm, and equine animal patients of our specialty hospitals. Unfortunately, we are legally unable to fill prescriptions from veterinarians outside of the veterinary medical center. We offer compounding services for several oral and topical medications. We can process refill requests usually within 48 hours. Compounded medications can take longer depending on the product.

Hours of Operation
Please use our new, customer prescription pick-up window. A pharmacist will also be happy to consult with you.
Prescriptions can only be picked up during pharmacy hours.
Monday-Friday  8:00 am - 7:00 pm
Saturday 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
*Closed Sundays and university observed holidays.
If you choose to have your medication shipped, or wish to leave a note about changes in quantity of medication, pick up time, etc., please email our pharmacy service at  CVM-VMCPharmacy@osu.edu  or call us at (614) 292-1010.
If having prescriptions shipped, someone from our pharmacy will reach out to you to get payment and verify shipping information. Please note, as of February 17, 2025, we will be switching from a flat-rate shipping fee to a charge that better reflects current UPS shipping charges. When speaking with our pharmacy staff about shipping prescriptions, we'll be able to provide you the exact pricing based on your address.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We look forward to continuing to fill prescriptions for your pet(s). Please reach out to our pharmacy staff with any questions.
Prescription Refills
Veterinary Medical Center clients please access our refill portal. If this is your first time visiting our portal, you will need to register with the email address that we have on file for you.
